lucy’s story

in december 2025, the hubby and i made a trip to a local petco. while we were there, we ran into this cutie:

i decided to adopt her and named her lucy sky. from the start, she was so friendly and loved to be held. lucy’s favorite hobby was eating (especially gerber puffs). everyday, she looked forward to seeing her mom and would greet you when you walked into the room. she loved running up your chest and making sounds in your ear. she also enjoyed rearranging her house.

lucy appeared older when she was adopted. toward the end of her life, it appeared she had developed some sort of tumor. nonetheless, she still enjoyed eating and saying hello. unfortunately, in the early hours of june 12, she passed away.

lucy was one of the sweetest hamsters i’ve ever owned. she was (and still is) so loved and is going to be missed.
